Welcome to the Partnership for Early Success blog! We are excited to offer this new voice and perspective on topics related to early childhood education, health and economic security for Kansas children age birth through 8.
The Partnership for Early Success is a collaboration of business leaders, educators, medical professionals, law enforcement officers, armed forces personnel and child advocates dedicated to improving the lives of our youngest Kansans. The Partnership was created to replace the Kansas Coalition for School Readiness, an earlier collaboration, in recognition that issues facing young children don’t end at the kindergarten door. In fact, many issues facing young children, such as language development and early literacy, extend through the first years of grade school.
In addition to a weekly blog, we are planning a number of projects and events in the upcoming year to educate and energize advocates for young children in our state. Please consider joining our efforts by signing on to the Partnership for Early Success member agreement. We look forward to the next phase of our work on behalf of Kansas children. With your help we can give every Kansas child the best possible start.
